GOYAL “From the day Mamta Banerjee has become Chief Minister of West Bengal, the Hindu community has been facing a surge in attacks as temples are burned, desecrated and destroyed and Hindus forced to flee in fear from the border state. Due to the ongoing protests in West Bengal against the Waqf (Amendment) Act, the Hindus are facing an uncertain future owing to onslaught of radical political Islamists let loose by the TMC party. The brutal assault and atrocities committed during these events highlight the dangers of unchecked Islamic radicalism and the devastating impact of political manoeuvring on the Hindu community.
The relentless blood shed of Hindus underscores the failure of political leaders to protect the vulnerable community and the catastrophic consequences of political use of radical Islam. The very fabric of Hindu community is being ripped to shreds by frenzied mobs that are incited by the venomous rhetoric of these goons. The organized attacks are not just random acts of violence but are part of a deliberate strategy to drive Hindus out of Muslim-majority areas to alter the demography.
The atrocities being committed against them especially the brutal rapes and abductions of women are intended to break the spirit of the Hindu community to make them feel like strangers in their own homeland. The CM of West Bengal who is supposed to maintain law and order has turned a blind eye to the carnage allowing the violence to escalate leaving the Hindu community to fend for themselves which may adversely affect the security, sovereignty and integrity of India.
It is a matter of great concern that discretion under Article 356 of the Constitution of India has not so far been exercised under Article 356 of the Constitution of India for imposition of President’s Rule in the state of West Bengal despite utter failure of constitutional machinery in this border state. History would remember Narendra Modi, who claims himself to be the messiah of Hindus, as the weakest Prime Minister of India who has miserably failed to impose President’s Rule in the state of West Bengal despite blood shed of thousands of innocent Hindus during insensitive regime of CM Mamta Banerjee who has abdicated her duty.”
